Active citizenry replace town council

The town decided to erect a temporary memorial to fallen soldiers until a permanent memorial could be agreed upon and installed.

The fallen soldiers memorial was to serve as a temporary display until the permanent one could be erected.

Unfortunately something in this display offended a vocal group who protested to the city council.  And in an effort to appease the offended the temporary memorial was removed by order of the town council.

One day after the council voted to tear down the display, angry voters convened and voted that the gutless officials be removed from their positions.

In addition nearly 2,000 white crosses were displayed by angry residents protesting the city council’s decision.  Breitbart reports that aside from these white crosses erected in yards across the town, citizens had warned the city council that if they voted to remove the display, they would be removed as well.

The Liberals prey on the ignorance of people. There is NOTHING in the U.S. Constitution that promises freedom FROM Religion, only freedom OF Religion. The whole “separation of church and state” is NOT in the U.S. Constitution but is written in a letter. Just as the Liberals attempted to twist, mislead and misinform people regarding abortion and gun control, they are using the same model with this lunacy of “separation of church and state”. The U.S. Constitution was intended so that government could not enact a state Religion NOT prevent people from exercising their own religious beliefs.

It is about time. Freedom OF religion does not mean freedom from religion. If Freedom From is what you want, find a country that promotes that idea.

Once again, you are underestimating your fellow humans. Not a surprise. We all know we, personally, are chock full of fuck-ups, but, for some weird psychological reason, if we do it as a group, we feel free to justify it. Ha. But, hey, whatever makes you feel better.

Oh come on, ‘fess, when you don’t conform to the picture others have constructed, watching them try to match things up so that they don’t have to adjust their narratives can be quite humorous

SEC, I rarely fail to laugh at humans, including myself. I was raised to laugh. Shit we do is fucking HILARIOUS! What I was taught NOT to do was make blanket judgments and count ANYONE out, period.
